I'm a self-taught software engineer. I build interfaces with React, TypeScript and modern CSS — the kind that load quickly, work with a keyboard, and don't fall apart on a mid-range phone.
The web is where I started, not where I stopped. I ship mobile apps with React Native and Expo, and desktop apps with Electron and Tauri — same instincts about performance and accessibility, different constraints to respect on each platform.
Most of what you'll see below started as a question I wanted answered: how fast can this get, how much of it can I make accessible by default, how little JavaScript can it ship. I write the documentation too, because a project nobody can pick up isn't finished.
Right now I'm taking on freelance work across web, mobile and desktop, and open to junior engineering roles.
A high-performance content platform built around an optimised reading experience — fast first paint, comfortable measure, and curated digital resources.
A complete Python course that runs entirely in the browser — CPython compiled to WebAssembly, so 19 lessons and 21 graded exercises execute real code with no server and no connection.
A reference tool for curated syntax guides and programming tips, designed for fast lookup while you're mid-task.
A responsive content site serving good-morning messages and quotes, running on its own domain with server-rendered pages.
An interactive single-card generator with real-time customisation — every control updates the preview as you type.
A clean, interactive task manager built around getting out of your way — keyboard-friendly and persistent between sessions.
A modern take on Tic Tac Toe with game state, win detection and a few features the paper version never had.
A scientific calculator in React — arithmetic, trigonometry, logarithms and memory operations, with history you can scroll back through.
No projects in this category yet.
No percentages — they'd be made up. Ask me about any of these and I'll show you the code.
Freelance work, a junior role, or just a question about how something here was made — all welcome.
